Glaziers

We are a full-service glass shop looking for a full-time experienced Glazier, as well as willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position should be able to demonstrate the following abilities to be considered as a suitable applicant;

· Must be organized, responsible and extremely reliable

· Able to work independently or as part of a team

· Able to follow instructions during project assignments (written & verbal)

· Must have a clean driving record

· Must have professional and positive attitude

Experienced Candidates:

· Experience in commercial glass, Aluminum storefront frames and entrances, glass handrails, curtain wall framing, and glass and mirror walls

· Glass Installation/Construction field (Storefront and Tenant Improvement projects)

· Own your own tools (glass cup, hand tools etc.)

· Strong familiarity with OSHA safety standards

· Must understand blueprints, excellent with a tape measure and measurements

· 3 to 5 years of glazing experience

Abilities:

· To manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints

· Pay strong attention to detail and process

· Strong service orientation to customers

· Be successful in a fast-paced construction environment

· Work overtime when needed

Working Conditions: (physical, vision, hearing, speaking, mental, construction environment)

· Frequent lifting of materials

· Frequent working with hands

· Frequent walking, standing, & kneeling

· Reading, comprehending, writing, preforming calculations, communicating orally, reasoning and analyzing
